Dimitar Manov

I am originally from North Macedonia, but I have lived in the Netherlands and Switzerland. These experiences helped me become more open-minded and curious, and made me feel at ease in international environments. Some of my family members have worked in agriculture, particularly rice production, while others have been involved in the solar energy sector. Being around those worlds sparked my interest in sustainability and how small businesses navigate challenges in less developed regions. Outside of work and studies, I enjoy staying active and spending time with others. I also enjoy reading and watching stories related to investigative journalism, especially those that bring out the human side of complex issues. I have a deep appreciation for cinema and history, which help me reflect and understand how the world changes over time. One film I often recommend is Honeyland, an Oscar-nominated documentary that explores human nature in a quiet, metaphorical way and left a lasting impression on me.
