Clara Giendl
My voluntary social service in India after high school enabled me see many of the world’s most pressing challenges first-hand and instilled a passion for fighting poverty and extreme inequality. Since then, I have studied, worked and lived in six different countries and travelled to many more, which further broadened my perspectives and the range of issues I am interested in. I studied economics with the motivation to use it as a force for good, driving evidence-based policymaking that improves people’s lives around the globe. My professional experience so far has mostly aimed to achieve this via research, most recently on health policy, which my personal interest in fitness and nutrition initially drove me towards, but before also on economic, fiscal, social or climate policy. Joining Broadpeak is an exciting opportunity to directly apply my skills and passion towards creating positive change in the world at a company that delivers powerful work on the issues I care about.
