Christian Idoko

As a young child growing up on African soil, I was empathetic, emotionally connected, and deeply concerned about the well-being of the people in my neighborhood. I always wished I could improve their economic and financial status for the better. I witnessed firsthand how financial hardship and limited access to healthcare created difficult choices for families—often forcing them to prioritize daily survival over essential medical care. I would become a doctor and build hospitals to serve the economically disadvantaged. It became a strong passion and I gave my all to do well academically. Unfortunately for me, twice I applied after high school, meeting all criteria yet on both occasions was unsuccessful. However, when circumstances redirected my path and driven by my passion to still help my community, I discovered another powerful way to make an impact—through Pharmacy. My journey in Pharmacy opened my eyes to the critical role of access to quality medications and healthcare products and other commodities. As part of the Broadpeak team, I am excited to apply my skills in procurement and supply chain management to international development impact finance, reinforcing my belief that it is our collective shared responsibility to make the world a better place for everyone.
