
Associate
You move fast, and want your work to create real-world change?
We are looking for an Associate to take responsibility for defined workstreams on high-impact projects in sustainability, finance, and development. This is a remote, permanent position, potentially part-time (80–100%) for professionals with relevant Tender Agent / Procurement Management experience who are ready to think independently, deliver reliably, and grow quickly. All that in a fast-growing start-up.
You will work under the leadership of a manager, but with a high level of autonomy and trust.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an Associate, you will play a key role within project teams, not just executing tasks, but actively shaping high-quality outcomes. You will:
• Own specific workstreams and deliverables within larger projects in various sectors across LatAm, Africa and Asia;
• Conduct research, synthesize findings, and produce outputs that are sharp and actionable;
• Translate complex information into clear memos, slides, or decision-ready content;
• Maintain structure and momentum in your areas of responsibility, always in close alignment with your manager;
• Contribute to internal and client-facing discussions with insight and clarity;
• Track timelines, flag challenges, and help keep the project on course;
• Work with a mindset of ownership, while respecting that the project lead remains with the manager.
WHAT YOU BRING
We are looking for experienced professionals who combine speed with structure, and autonomy with accountability.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Tender / Procurement Management (e.g. in consulting, finance, development, sustainability, or public sector work);
• You work well in complex, fast-paced settings and enjoy figuring things out independently;
• You think clearly, write precisely, and communicate with structure and intent;
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality – your outputs are accurate and client-ready;
• You are proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously;
• You are comfortable delivering under pressure, and open to feedback and iteration;
• Full professional proficiency in English (C1 or above) is a must;
• Other languages (e.g. French, Spanish, German) are a plus;
• You are motivated by purpose-driven work and want to grow through real responsibility.
