Raised in Bolivia, I saw firsthand how microfinance emerged as a vital lifeline for families seeking new livelihoods after the economic crisis of the 1980s. Watching financial innovation, smart regulation, and a focus on sustainability lay the groundwork for scalable growth inspired me to join the sector early on. That early spark eventually led me to Peru, where for the past 13 years I’ve worked alongside thoughtful, purpose-minded people across Latin America, focusing on inclusive and climate finance through close partnerships with local financial institutions, investment funds, and development organizations. At heart, I enjoy bridging global strategy with on-the-ground reality—supporting talented teams, navigating risk with sound judgment, and co-creating financial solutions that expand economic opportunity and protect our environment. I’m excited to join this team, listen and share experiences, and bring a grounded, practical perspective as we work to expand opportunity across the region.
